If the Republicans get in this will be a disaster of monumental proportions. They will continue their failed policies that have bankrupted America and lost all out jobs. When Obama took over, it was like taking over the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. The good news is that it will probably ensure an even larger Democratic majority in 2012.

Well if the dems keep the majority, unemployment will stay the same or go higher, and the economy will go nowhere. Remember you dems keep accusing the business owners of not hiring because the dems are in control and they want to sse the dems fail.

The businesses aren't hiring because they don't need to. They can have machines do most of the jobs that were lost for cheaper, but they were just waiting for the recession as an excuse to lay off employees. And any more money we stuff in their pockets (in the form of extending their tax cuts) is going to stay there, because they don't want to spend their money. That's why they're rich.

The only difference I see between the parties is the speed with which they are steering us toward destruction. The republicans were taking us there at 55 mph, while the democrats have mashed the accelerator to the floor. Both parties want socialism: Bush gave us free drugs for seniors and Obama took over the health care system entirely. I say vote republican in 2010 to restrain Obama. The best party for 2012 remains to be seen. If the Tea Party forces the republicans to keep their promises to downsize the Federal Government, then republicans are the better party for 2012. We will see.
